Frozen Mango Mule

Servings: 2

Prep Time: 5 minutes

Total Time: 5–10 minutes

Ingredients

  • 2 cups frozen mango chunks

  • 2 oz vodka (or more, to taste)

  • 1 oz fresh lime juice (about 1 lime)

  • ½–¾ cup ginger beer, chilled

  • 1–2 tsp honey or simple syrup (optional, depending on sweetness)

  • 1 cup ice cubes (for extra frostiness)

Optional Garnishes:

  • Lime wedges

  • Fresh mint leaves

  • Candied ginger

  • Mango slices

Instructions

  1. Blend the Base: In a high-speed blender, combine:

    • Frozen mango

    • Vodka

    • Lime juice

    • Honey/simple syrup (if using)

    • Ice cubes

  2. Add Ginger Beer Last:

    • Add ½ cup of ginger beer and blend again briefly, just to mix.

    • For a fizzier drink, stir in ginger beer after blending instead of blending it directly.

  3. Taste & Adjust:

    • Add more ginger beer to thin it or boost spice.

    • Adjust sweetness with a bit more honey if needed.

  4. Serve: Pour into chilled copper mugs or cocktail glasses. Garnish with mint, a lime wedge, or a slice of mango.

Tips & Variations

  • Make it non-alcoholic by skipping the vodka and using extra ginger beer or sparkling water.

  • Add a few slices of fresh ginger for a spicier kick.

  • Want it creamy? Add a splash of coconut milk or yogurt for a mango lassi-style mule.
