Citrus glaze is a joyful blend of sweet and tangy flavors that can uplift a variety of dishes. Citrus glaze adds a refreshing layer to cakes, tarts, and pastries, making each bite delightful. A drizzle of orange glaze on a pound cake or a zesty lemon glaze on cheesecake can elevate the dessert experience immensely.

Citrus Glaze (Lemon, Orange, or Lime)


Ingredients:

  • 2 cups powdered sugar

  • 2–3 tablespoons fresh citrus juice (lemon, orange, or lime)

  • 1 teaspoon zest of the same fruit

  • Optional: 1–2 teaspoons milk or cream for a silkier finish


Instructions:

  1. In a bowl, whisk together powdered sugar and 2 tablespoons of citrus juice.

  2. Add zest and more juice (or milk/cream) as needed to reach a pourable consistency.

  3. Drizzle over baked goods and allow to set for 10–15 minutes.
